About the Book

Frankie, a therapist, doesn’t believe in magic even though she lives in a town that believes in witches. Ash, Frankie’s neighbor, finds lost things-it’s his superpower. Frankie tries to resist his charm but soon a spark ignites between the two after they both find themselves looking for a missing girl. The search will have Frankie second guessing what she knows about her neighbor, witches, and magic itself.

Quick Review (Spoiler Free)

This was such a cute read! It had a little bit of a slow start but I was pleasantly surprised by the rest of the book. The cover is what ultimately drew me in. I knew the author was going to give this romance a cute twist but I forgot how much I love her style. It’s been a while since I’ve read one of her books and I will definitely be adding her back to my backlist. This book had sass, drama, cute  family love, wholesomeness, witches,  and trauma. Plus I was smacked in the face with a surprise twist from one of the characters. I loved it!

Now, let's get into the details!!

Are you kidding me!?

That twist with Trina! Why did I not see it coming! Man that made me audibly speak out and my husband asked me if I got bamboozled. And yes... yes I did.

This was such a cute romance. I really loved all the elements that drew the MCs together the way the story did. Richard can kick rocks... jerk.

Also, I have not read the first book in the series so I do love a good stand alone that you can really read whichever pieces or in whichever order you would like. I do like this series so far and will probably give book one a shot and depending on the characters maybe would read more of the series. All the characters were so cute and had such great personalities. I'd like to see more from the West Harbor gang.

I would like to thank Meg Cabot, Harper Voyager, and Netgalley for this eARC opportunity!
