Quick Review (Spoiler Free)
I’ve never really given much attention to this story, even though it is deemed as one of the greatest horror stories in the world. I will say this read was very difficult for me. I ended up switching to the audio after trying to read it 3 times. The audio was still difficult as I found the language of the timeframe hard to keep my interest. The story is interesting but ends up rather predictable even with me not knowing much about it.
Now, let's get into the details!!
Guys... I really wanted to like this. But I really didn't. The book almost put me to sleep multiple times, the audio when it was the monster's narration was so whiney, and the whole story in my opinion was very "pity me".
