About the Book
Hannah wants Justin. Garrett wants to pass this class... and Hannah is his way to do it. So Garrett talks Hannah in to helping him and in turn will help her get Justin. It’s the perfect deal... But Hannah has baggage that she needs to move past. Garrett soon realizes he wants Hannah and now has to convince her it's not just pretend.
Quick Review (Spoiler Free)
The banter in this is absolutely amazing. I love the realistic way that they communicate and the feel of the story is very relatable. I was constantly giggling my way through this read. The story is relatable and the flow of the story was well paced. Overall this read was definitely one of my favorites.
Now, let's get into the details!!
I love a sarcastic man, and Garrett definitely delivers. I think this is partly why I enjoy their banter so much. They have such good chemistry and I found myself rooting for them the whole time, even when he knew he was potentially coaching her to be with someone else.
Narration Comments
I listened to the audiobook version of this and I would let Christian Fox read me a cereal box or an encyclopedia... his voice is captivating. I originally gave this a 4 star review, but after giving it some thought the only reason that I did was because I didn't vibe with the female part. She didn't do badly but her voice is not what I would have pictured Hannah sounding like and it took me a long while to get over it. I've since updated it since I don't feel that it's fair to knock the overall rating down for that.
