About the Book
Carrie and Oliver chose to have their upcoming wedding celebration at the famous Stanley Hotel. And like all good horror stories, someone winds up dead. Thankfully, FBI agent, Andi Castle is a plus-one to the celebration. Andi must now try to uncover what secrets are being held while the hotel is on lockdown. She must find out which of the guests secrets are worth killing over before another party guest is killed.
Quick Review (Spoiler Free)
I would love to read more books featuring Andi as our FMC detective! Whodunit mysteries are among my favorite types of mystery reads. I had a thought early on about the ending, assumed it was too easy, and then was still blindsided by the reveal. While I loved Carrie and Oliver together (they are honestly adorable), I really wish we could have gotten more from Andi's romantic relationship. I felt like I wanted more from the hotel involvement... And I low-key would love to read more about Brody.
Narration Comments
The two narrators did a great job of swapping between Carrie and Andi. Nothing felt forced. They did a good job on the accents for the other characters with minor moments where it felt cheesy but I feel like that’s the nature of voice over work.
