​Welcome! I want to create a place where book lovers come together to discover new reads and respectfully discuss books.

My name is Megan but I also go by Megs. I am a mid-thirties nurse, mom, and book lover. If I got a do-over, I would probably work in a library or bookstore. I have loved reading since before I can remember. I was a little girl when my aunt would come visit and bring me books. I am from Texas, USA, love sweet tea, and I am a natural blonde (sometimes it shows). 

​In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, playing video games, and reading. I am becoming a cat lady in life, I align as Lawful Neutral (yes, I play D&D), and belong to the Ravenclaw house.

I read fantasy and mystery/thriller mostly but have just started reading romance as well. I currently leave reviews on Goodreads, Instagram, and recently have joined Tome Books. I wanted to make a place that I could put more detailed reviews like I am able to do on Goodreads.

I have also recently started being an ARC reader (advanced reader copies). I'm on my 5th ARC right now and have been loving this opportunity. I use LoveNotesPR and Netgalley for these reads.

Some fun facts about me:

• I love sweet tea, iced gingerbread lattes, and diet Dr. Pepper.

• I prefer paperback books.

• I cannot pick favorites (books or authors) without feeling bad.

• My favorite genre is Fantasy (including Romantasy).

• I usually have an audiobook going while I drive/work around my house and a Kindle/physical read for when I have downtime.
