About the Book
Jennette recounts all the details of growing up as a child star while dealing with eating disorders, addiction, and unhealthy relationships as an adult. She discusses the difficulty of finding her voice to express the things that she wants in life and her road to recovery.
Quick Review (Spoiler Free)
I feel like this was a raw and emotional recount of her life and struggles. She explains how she encounters the push and pull of wanting to be better but also making herself believe in the easy way out. I really feel for her in the things that she experienced when she was young. Great read.
Ratings
As this was a memoir and a story of someone's life, I will not be rating this nor will I critique the story/writing. I do not want to put a rating and assign entertainment value to someone's personal life, struggles, and thoughts.
