DNF Quick Review (Spoiler Free)
I really liked The Ritual. And I wanted to continue on the series since I know it’s supposed to be interconnected but different characters. This was much darker than I care to delve in to. I didn't particularly vibe with the narrator and Sin's character felt really obnoxious from the beginning. The content in the first couple of chapter honestly sent me running: I can't get past the straight up rape that happens for several chapters even though I hear that she ends up being a consenting party later on. And while I will say the narrator is a great actor because of how well he pulled off his side of the emotions, he was still waaaaaay to happy about what was going on. This one just made me feel really uncomfortable.
