Quick Review (Spoiler Free)
Holy moly. There were so many things that I liked about this one. I love that this whole series follows the characters that it does. There is not a dull character in the main group and the side characters are intertwined so nicely. The only thing that bothers me is Elain. There is just something about her story that I feel we aren’t getting... That’s what kept this from 5 stars for me. I’m ready to move on to the next part but not ready to wait for the next book to be released.
Now, let's get into the details!!
This was such a good palette cleanser of a story after everything that the characters went through.
There were small things that annoyed me through this book though.
1) Nesta. Goodness, woman. Just stop brooding for 5 minutes.
2) Elain. Quite being such an ass to Lucien. But also, I really think you'd be a cute pair with Azriel. Ugh... I can't decide how I want this to go.
I wanted to share another cute picture I found for this book. Their holiday get together representation is so good here!
