Quick Review (Spoiler Free)
My, oh, my. This book made me so happy. I am so glad I started the year off with this BookTok recommendation. It is such a fun and easy read. The pacing was great, the story was so good, and the characters were all nicely weaved together. The banter in this book is laugh out loud, kicking and giggling-type humor. I was hooked from start to finish. I accidentally stayed up until 4:30 am listening to this one.
Now, let's get into the details!!

It is such a fun and easy read. The pacing was great and kept leading on event to event without feeling rushed or stagnant. The storyline was so good!! All of the characters were all nicely weaved together; it was great to see how the main characters split out and had their own relationships too. I loved the relationship that develops between several of the characters throughout the book and the memories that are revealed.
The banter between the two main characters in this book is laugh out loud, kicking and giggling-type humor. I love a good sarcastic and stubborn couple. I love when a romance can make things relatable and realistic.
After reading some stuff online, I learned that the next book in the stand alone series is about the missing Grim Reaper and I'm actually really excited to read about that one!
Narration Comments
It took me a minute to wrap my mind around Will’s voice… but holy moly the Irish accent really grew on me. Also, Karissa’s voice is the most adorable thing. I haven’t gone out of my way to look up many narrators but I really enjoyed listening to her. She has such a good range of emotion and delivery.
